Shop special: A beautiful custom “Pernilla” chair — to be restored

Dario managed to source two frames of a classic chair of the 20th century: Bruno Mathsson’s “Pernilla”. Both frames were in great condition.
Unlike the original “Pernilla” chairs, these two have custom-made metal bases. He restored one of the chairs to its former beauty, using environmentally-friendly vegetable-tanned Italian hides of the highest quality. (Read more about previous Bruno Mathsson restorations by Dario.)
That chair — pictured here, in natural leather — has been sold. Its twin is available for restoring, on request, in a colour of your choice. After an order has been placed, it will take Dario a few weeks to source the leather he needs and restore the chair, so allow around 8-10 weeks for delivery.

New Tripolina chairs
The leather parts of Dario’s Tripolina chairs are made using environmentally-friendly vegetable-tanned Italian hides of the highest quality. The frames are made from high-quality teak or ash, with galvanized steel or brass fixings.
The chairs are available in the colours shown (availability updated weekly). Some are ready for immediate shipping. Others — for which the leather will need to be ordered and the chair made to order — can be shipped to arrive within around 6-8 weeks. Contact us if you want a specific colour that isn’t shown here; we may be able to source the leather in that colour.

Given the unique nature of each hide, note that all colours are indicative. With age, they will darken and lighter colours will take on a warmer hue.
